Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine ‘micro injections’ of vitamins, minerals and amino acids cocktails are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin. This infusion of ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin, while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity.

We use the Fusion Range of mesotherapy solutions as they are excellent products and produced to pharmaceutical standards. The treatment includes a Hyaluronic Peel and finishes with a mask.

SKIN NEEDLING

Skin needling is also called micro-needling therapy or collagen induction therapy. It is a minimally-invasive non-surgical procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a micro-needling device to create controlled skin injury.

As each fine needle punctures the skin, it creates a channel or micro-wound. The controlled injury triggers the body to fill these micro-wounds by producing new collagen and elastin in dermis. The result is younger, brighter and healthier-looking skin with fewer wrinkles.

Microneedling also enhances the penetration of active ingredients from your topical creams and serums, leading to a massive increase in their efficacy.

What is skin needling used for?

• Tightening sagging skin.

How many treatments will I need?

We recommend at least 3 treatments for skin rejuvenation and at least 6 for scar reduction, although a one off treatment will give you a nice glow to the skin and a temporary tightening effects

The process of skin re-modelling post treatment can go on for months after each treatment and the results are cumulative. Initial results can be seen within 10 days; with the best results seen 3 months later as the collagen is continually growing and maturing in the skin over a 90 day period.

For skin rejuvenation you can be treated every 2-4 weeks and with scars every 4 weeks.

What happens during treatment?

The treatment area is disinfected and a topical anaesthetic cream is applied, if required. We then apply a sterile mesotherapy serum to the skin and, using a single use sterile cartridge, the skin is needled. Once the micro-needling is finished, we use an ice cold roller to massage the skin and bring down any redness, followed by a Beta-Glucan Hydrogel Mask to cool, calm, nourish and heal the skin. This is followed by Beta-Glucan serum.

The device we use to needle the skin is called Fusion Platinum Pen as it is the best on the market.

What happens after treatment?

Treatment is minimally invasive and clients normally only report very mild symptoms post treatment, which can be:

DAY 1: Redness and heat

DAY 2: Redness starts to subside – more likely nice healthy glow. May be slight swelling and tightness

DAY 3: Skin may be slightly pink. Any swelling has subsided

On subsequent days the skin may feel tighter or drier.
